Benefit for Johanna
Fellow
dancer and teacher Johanna was diagnosed with breast cancer a few
months ago. She has been fighting the good fight successfully. Read

Like most full time dancers and teachers, Johanna does not have
health insurance. Her partner in the dance studio and other
teachers and performers in Central Florida and beyond have been
holding benefits to help defray the costs of the surgery and
chemotherapy that Johanna has needed. So far, they have succeeded
in raising over $17,000.
I would like to sponsor a benefit for Johanna. All proceeds will go
directly to her. A drawing will be held at the Global Dance Fest 07
Workshop "Cairo Meets Calcutta" December 1 & 2. The drawing will be
held immediately following the Sunday morning class. You do not
have to be present to win and you do not have to attend the workshop
to win! No purchase is required other than that of the ticket for
the benefit raffle.

Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Tickets may be purchased online -
or on site of the workshop or show.
