The Global Dance Arts Center
was created by Zarifa Sa'id in 1995 to foster the development of
multi-cultural dance arts in North Central Florida. The Global Dance
Arts Center teaches women's
dances from Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and
Turkey. When possible, guest artists expand the performing
repertoire to include Hawaiian, Spanish, Indian and African ethnic
dance.
The Center seeks to offer students the experience of ethnic dance
movement in both classroom and performance settings.
Performance opportunities include stage,
theatrical and community events. Students and performers include a wide
range of ages, body types and interests.
Intermediate/Advanced Belly Dance Classes
taught by Master Teacher Zarifa Sa'id. Classes held at
Unified Training Center, Corner of NW University Ave and 8th
Street. Classes include technique and choreography.
Class Schedule
Classes run
for one month and are held once a week on Monday night 6:00
pm - 7:30 pm.
Cost is
$30/month payable in advance.
